Construction of Terminal Building (ETM) Apron and Parking of Khost Province Airfield.
Scope of Work:
The project was an airport project located at Khost Province. The major activities of the project was consist of: construction of new passenger terminal building, construction of control tower building, construction of approximately 79650 m² Apron made of standard quality concrete with all infrastructures and a Ground Service Equipment Road, Construction of asphalt Taxiway connecting the new apron to the runway, Construction of asphalt car parking approximately 8400m², Concrete for side walkway pavement 1000m² including Earth Work (Cutting and Filling), Reinforcement Work, Drainage, Reinforcement Concrete Box Culvert, Storm water system, Marking, and Joints saw cutting, cleaning and filling. Harirod Construction Company installed own Concrete Batching Plant with production capacity of 50m3 P/h and delivered total 37769 m³ best qualities Concrete according to the project specifications, with much better result than our expectation within the period of performance.
Furthermore, the testing of material and concrete performed by a third party USACETAA certified Lab “Geo Scientific Material Testing Laboratories. Add: House # 10, Street # 01, Opposite North Gate, Ghazi High School, Kart-e-Char, Kabul, Afghanistan.
