Harirod Construction Company is honored to announce its role in the implementation of one of Afghanistan’s most ambitious infrastructure initiatives — the Arghandi Transport Terminal in the Paghman District of Kabul Province.

The official groundbreaking ceremony took place today, led by Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. The event was also attended by Mullah Hamidullah Akhundzada, Acting Minister of Transport and Aviation, alongside key private sector representatives and local residents.

This transformative project, spanning approximately 900 jeribs of land and backed by a budget of 1.285 billion Afghanis, marks a significant milestone in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’s vision to modernize and expand the country’s transportation infrastructure. The terminal will be constructed over the period of two years, with Harirod Construction Company taking the lead in its execution.

Project Highlights

Once completed, the Arghandi Transport Terminal will serve as a central hub for transportation and logistics, significantly improving the flow of goods and passengers in the region. Key features of the project include:

Development of 42 essential facilities, including modern terminals and logistics support systems,
Improved organization of transit operations across the province,
Creation of employment opportunities for hundreds of local workers,
